Mowing outside with daddy
We recently bought Connor a bubble lawn mower. Mainly because Ethan got one for his birthday and when we're over at the Garber's both of the boys would always fight over who would get to play with it. So to avoid more fights we decided to buy Connor one of his own. We keep it at our house so that he can play with it everyday as well. And let me tell you that's exactly what he does. Every time we go outside he grabs his lawn mower and he's out the door. Ryan was home the other day and Connor noticed his lawn mower in the garage and insisted that he needed to mow the back yard and Connor decided that he needed to help.

Tired
This just shows that everyone gets tired after a long hard day of playing. Really these pictures were just too precious not to post.

I think we just plain wore the dog out.
Ryan laid down on the floor when we got home from the Garber's last Sunday night, and Connor just curled up right next to him. These are the moments that make life worth living. I love these two.
Jeff and Joni
Usually after we have Connor's pictures taken at Portrait Innovations we go over to our good friends house...Jeff and Joni. Joni is pregnant with their second child and has been on strict bed rest orders from her doctors. So we thought that we would pay them a visit and see the glowing mom to be.

What a cutie.
Joni's pregnant belly, I'm pretty sure Ryan took this photo.
Jeff's pretty smile. What a goof ball, I'm sure my hubby was doing something to prompt this pic.
18 month photos-April 28, 2010
Yes, it's that time of year again. I can't believe that Connor is already 18 months old. Where has the time gone, my little baby that I held for the first time. Connor who was only 6 pounds 9 ounces when he was born is now a solid 27 pounds. Let me just say that I love this little boy more than life itself, and I wouldn't change any of it for the world. When we went to Portrait Innovations for his pictures I knew that there were going to be some struggles because he moves a lot more than he did for his first photo shoot 15 months ago, when he was only 3 months old. And let's just say that we normally take about 120-150 pictures and this time we only took 81. Even the photographer said, "and I think he's done." Yeah, I think he was, but we were still able to get several good pics in any way.

Coffee Table fun
Well Connor is definitely a climber, much to my chagrin. Let's just say that these photos prove that my little man is ALL BOY!!!! What am I going to do? Let's just say that this was the one and only time that I let him get away with this.

Easter 2010
We all love Easter, new clothes, Easter baskets filled with candy, and lots of fun memories with family and friends. Or at least the attempt of fun memories. As you all know by now that my very dear friend/sister Ashlin Hadden is a photographer. So almost every time that she comes home we have her take some pictures of the boys. We usually try to get them matching outfits and then we let the fun begin. Well lets just say that the two little guys were less than thrilled this year. Individually they did alright, but Connor really needed a nap, and then he mood transferred to Ethan, and we never did get a great group shot. Thankfully Ashlin has a lot of patience, and we love her for that. However, once Connor took a nap we did actually get some good pics in. Also I was able to take some pics of all of the fun we did have on Easter day.
The only group shot where they were all looking forward...sort of.
Connor looking like a little stud...now mind you Ashlin did a lot of editing to this photo...she took out the tears and I even think a little nasal drip. :)

Kim put silly string in the big boys Easter baskets, and Connor and Ethan loved playing with the remains.
Connor really loved the silly string.
Ethan found an empty can...I swear they have their own language, I wish I knew what they were thinking here.

Those are some big shoes
For some reason Connor has an obsession with shoes. You know I don't know where he gets it from. Alright, maybe he gets it from me...Connor loves to put on his mommy's and daddy's shoes. And you know, he walks around in them really well. I don't know how he does it, but he very rarely falls. I guess it's just all of that "natural" talent. :)

Wearing daddy's shoes one last time before bed.
In-door lawn mower
Do you remember those annoying little popping toys that we had when we were younger. Well imagine that noise magnified by a thousand, and following that noise is the happiest little boy that you've ever seen. I guess seeing Connor's face when he's pushing around his lawn mower makes up for the noise...right? Thanks again Grandma.
Spaghetti fun
Well Connor has discovered his new favorite food...spaghetti. I never thought that I would be the one who would let her child get all messy when eating. However, I've come to realize that sometimes there is just no getting around it. So all I could do was laugh and share the fun of eating spaghetti.
Legos
For Christmas one of Connor's presents was a giant tub of Legos from his Uncle Matt. You see Matt is and avid Lego man himself, and when he heard that Connor loves to play with Legos...well it was like seeing a little kid in a candy store. I'm sure he was very excited to buy these for his nephew, and let me tell you Matt, that Connor loves his legos. He hasn't quite grasped the concept of putting them together yet, so he has found a new way to play with them. Maybe when you come back next you can show him just how it's done.
First step, get in bucket...
Second step, try to get out of bucket...
Third step, ask for mom's help...
Then a few days later, he thought that just sitting on top of the bucket looked like fun.
Then he wants to jump off, hey at least he's having fun right...all while trying to give mom a heart attack.
Biter biscuits
Most parents know that biter biscuits are probably the most disgusting thing you can give your child. So for those of you who aren't parents are probably asking your selves, "then why give it to your child." Well all I can say is that they love them and when you have a teething toddler, who is cranky, and you think that at any moment his/her head will completely spin around on his/her neck, then you'll understand why we give them a biter biscuit. It's to keep us sane. :)
First bite, well this isn't so bad...what's all the fuss about?
Let the "goo" begin.
One happy teething baby, one gooey, icky mess for mom.
